This Extreme Extruded propellant has gone through some changes since its inception, all the time maintaining the same important burning speed of the past. The kernels were trimmed so that the metering would be more accurate, and the appropriate ingredients were added so that it would be particularly insensitive to hot and cold conditions. Hodgdon H4198 Powder performs very well with a variety of cartridges, including the 222 Remington, 444 Marlin, and 7.62 x 39.
