This 40 S&W cartridge by Magtech is just the ticket for training and target practice alike. Its 165 grain bullet features a flat nose, which works rather like a wadcutter to cut a cleaner hole through a paper target. This a full metal jacket bullet that won’t expand within a soft target, but benefits a semi-auto by feeding fluidly and preventing very rapid bore fouling. At 1,050 fps, this round’s muzzle velocity is subsonic — for that reason it’s especially suitable for use in a firearm that is fitted with a suppressor.
