The aluminum cartridge case is lighter weight than brass, but as such does not typically hold enough integrity for repeated reloads. Aluminum, while soft does not hold the same level of malleability as brass and therefore is subject to stress fractures after it’s shot repeatedly. Simply put: at this cheap price point, the materials used are excellent and the need for relatively inexpensive rounds far outweighs the small benefit of having a round that can be reloaded.
